The Webb Bag

As the industry pioneer of the Webb Bag, this bag style provides the best of both a pinch and square bottom bags.  The value-driven design of the bag incorporates a square palletizing shape and the easy closing feature of the pinch bag. 

Our Webb Bags offer more bags per truckable pallet with a “squared-out” pallet shape that provides pallet stabilization and enhanced stack height. This unique construction provides our tech-savvy buyers with reduced breakage in loading, transport and warehouse, which reduces your overall cost.  Moreover, the bag’s construction provides a significant competitive advantage by providing the end consumer with a bag that stands up for scooping product and convenient storage.

This style bag has gussets on each side of the bag, has a square-pasted, bottom closure at the bottom and a pre-applied thermoplastic adhesive at the top for the customer to reactivate in closing.

  • Based on product packed, construction employs a variety of custom, barrier plies
  • This style offers a flat print area on the ends of the bag for product identification while the bags are lying flat

Pasted Valve: Stepped End (PVSE) or Flush-Cut (PVFC)

While many bag manufacturers rely on the flush-cut, pasted-valve patch bag, to fit into high-volume bag machines, Bancroft Bag takes a different approach. We provide the superior solution against product sifting with both stepped-end or flush-cut bag making equipment. From carbon black to titanium dioxide, our stepped-end bags are custom designed to address sifting during production.

Description

Pasted-valve bags, in both stepped-end and flush-cut options, are a flat tube with a pasted top and bottom with graduated (stepped) or straight-cut ends. On top, one of the four corners of the bag are left open and a sleeve is placed in that corner for filling.

Self-Opening Sack

We manufacture both large SOS for products such as charcoal and small self-opening sacks for food products such as fish fry.

Description

This style bag has gussets on each side of the bag with a square pasted bottom closure. The other end is left open for packing and can be closed by sewing, stapling or taping. 

  • The square end provides a square shape for palletizing and allows the bag to stand up unsupported for filling
  • Even in small consumer size, the bottom provides an area for print identification when the bag is lying on the shelf

Description

This bag is made from a flush cut tube, which is closed at one end by sewing and left open at the other end for the customer to pack. The customer will then sew to close.
